"I only had a few minutes to get some shots of this stunning frozen landscape, as the bus I had to catch to the airport was just about to leave. I'd already packed away my tripod, so I improvised by resting my camera on my camera rucksack, in order to get some shots in the low light of dawn. Here a relatively small inlet, in the huge Tys Fjord, had frozen over in the biting sub-zero temperatures. The mountains in the distance are on the other side of the main fjord, over 20 miles away." |
