Landscape Photographer of the Year
"After a heavy mid-winter fall of snow, I had got to the top of Corn Du by dawn to savour and photograph the pristine snow-covered mountain landscape before anyone else was around. By mid-morning, a steady stream of walkers could be seen appearing from the mist covered valley below, walking up the same path I had used myself a few hours earlier."
This photograph was one of the commended entries in the 'Living the View' category of the 'Take a View' Landscape Photographer of the Year competition. It was awarded a place in the awards book (available from AA Publishing) and appeared as an exhibition print at London's National Theatre. Packhorse Track, Loch Maree Dawn, and King Street are commended entries from other years of the same competition.
