"On a visit to North Norfolk, I stayed at Mrs Preedy's Cottage, which is owned by the National Trust. Initially I was drawn to photograph the S bend in the road right in front of the cottage, however this proved unproductive and I soon realised the cottage itself could be used as the primary focal point of a composition. I choose to take the photographs at twilight, when I could create quite a pleasing effect with all the lights in the cottage turned on." |
