"A two and a half hour light aircraft flight over the Namib Desert was one of the best flights I'd ever taken. The route travelled over a constantly changing variety of desert landscapes, at times only a few hundred feet above the dunes. Here, at 1000 feet high, a snaking dune ridge can be seen."
