"The balloon flight started at dawn, just as the sun appeared over the horizon. The early morning sunshine provided some excellent lighting conditions for photography as we drifted over the dramatic desert landscape of the Namib desert in southern Africa. Another balloon set off from the same location at the same time, and this provided a good subject for many photographs, as the two balloons drifted over the desert together."
