"A moth of late autumn, the Sprawler is regular in small numbers to the Hampshire garden. The name 'Sprawler' is said to come from the larva's habit of throwing its head back in a defensive manner, but for me its name seems to perfectly describe how one usually finds it sprawled out on a flat surface."
