"After a number of days of freezing temperatures that often dropped well below -10 °C, I was hoping for some photogenic conditions along the river that runs through Monsal Dale. The fast flowing waters that run through the dale don't freeze even in these low temperatures, however the water and spray thrown up by the Monsal Dale weir can produce some interesting effects in cold conditions. On this particular day, the rocks close to the weir were covered in a thick layer of ice."
