"Armadillos are easily recognised by their distinctive body armour. Principally nocturnal and shy, it was fortunate to find this individual foraging amongst the sand dunes on the Peninsula Valdes coast. Walking around actively like a clockwork toy, I took this shot on one of the few brief occasions when it stopped moving."
