"I was hoping to use the Coquet River here to provide some good reflections of Warkworth Castle that sits high above the riverside. However I quickly realized that the reflections of the riverside trees and clear blue sky were providing a much better photographic subject. At certain wind speeds the patterns would form into interesting connected shapes. I particularly liked this shot as the three bubbles on the surface of the water near the bottom edge of the shot help to give some context to an otherwise abstract image."
