"Whilst waiting for the tide to recede, I discovered this photogenic arrangement of shoreline boulders from my cliff-top vantage point. I was particularly attracted by the pleasing reflection on the rocks. As waves were constantly breaking over the beach, I knew a successful image would require timing the exposure so that the surf was surrounding the boulders but not covering their tops. Although I experimented with numerous shots, this second image (left) turned out to be my favourite."
